What distinguishes a bald facial marking?

A bald facial marking is characterized by a very broad blaze that extends from around the eyes to the nostrils. This type of marking covers a significant portion of the horse's face, creating a distinct appearance that can greatly enhance the horse’s visual appeal and identification. The width of this blaze is what primarily distinguishes it as a bald marking, making it more noticeable than other facial markings.

In contrast, other types of markings either cover less area or are more subtly defined, such as narrow markings that only appear at the forehead or markings that do not extend below the eyes, thereby failing to meet the criteria for a bald facial marking.
